Egyptian TV channel airs program on upcoming WUF13 in Baku
The Egyptian TV Channel has broadcast a special program highlighting Azerbaijan's strategic geographical position and its growing role within international platforms.
The program provided detailed information about the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13), emphasizing the essence of the event.
The reports described the forum as important international platform for discussing global challenges in urban planning.
The guest of the program, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Cairo Elkhan Polukhov emphasized that the country will host the event under the auspices of the UN, which is the second largest after the COP. He noted that Azerbaijan is the first country in the post-Soviet space to host global events such as the COP and the WUF.
The experience gained by Azerbaijan during its chairmanship of the Non-Aligned Movement was also in spotlight of the program.
The report stated that all countries were invited to the WUF13 forum to be held in Baku, adding that Azerbaijan also benefited from Egypt’s experience in organizing this event.
The report hailed the high-level relations, as well as reciprocal visits between Azerbaijan and Egypt. The program also mentioned broad opportunities for further development of cooperation, highlighting the importance of developing economic ties between the two countries.
