“WUF13 brought together record participation and a strong unified message, marking a decisive moment for housing. It is time to act and move from incremental progress to structural transformation,” said Anacláudia Rossbach, Executive Director of UN-Habitat, in her remarks at the official closing press conference of the 13th Session of the UN World Urban Forum (WUF13).

She noted that the message from Baku is clear and unambiguous—the coming decade should focus on faster implementation, broader action, and tangible improvements in people’s lives.
