“This is my second visit to Garabagh, and we are impressed by the scale of restoration and reconstruction efforts here,” Marianne de Jong, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Azerbaijan, told AZERTAC.

She added that the Netherlands and Azerbaijan are exploring cooperation in areas such as water resource management, transport connectivity, and agriculture.

The ambassador outlined broad opportunities to expand cooperation, with closer partnership expected in the near future. She also noted that a large Dutch delegation led by the Mayor of The Hague will attend the World Urban Forum in Baku, adding that the Netherlands is closely following WUF discussions and preparing to actively participate.
