About the Forum

 

The National Urban Forum of Ecuador (Foro Urbano Nacional 2024) was held on October 23-24, 2024, in the capital, Quito. Organized by the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing of Ecuador with the support of UN-Habitat, the forum focused on strengthening stakeholder collaboration to address urban challenges and promote sustainable and equitable urban policies in the country. The event discussed tools for resource mobilization, strengthening local governance, and implementing sustainable development projects with the participation of public, private, and academic institutions.
