Although I have been here for just one month, I am pleased to emphasize that all those involved have played a vital role in ensuring the effective organization of the event during this period, Igor Garafulic, UN Resident Coordinator ad interim in Azerbaijan, said at a briefing held as part of the 13th Global Baku Forum.

“It is beyond doubt that the Government of Azerbaijan has aligned all its priorities to ensure the success of this major event. As my colleagues are well aware, success is usually achieved through great effort. Since my first visit to the Olympic Stadium a month and a half ago, I have witnessed how rapidly the preparations for WUF13 are progressing each week,” he added.
