Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of Azerbaijan, met with Boris Tadić, former President of Serbia and member of the Board of Trustees of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center (NGIC).

The meeting focused on preparations for the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), scheduled to be held in Baku in 2026, highlighting the importance of NGIC’s participation in the event.

The sides also discussed the NGIC Annual Meeting, set to take place on January 15–16, 2026, in Geneva, exchanging views on joint initiatives and opportunities for cooperation within its framework.

Anar Guliyev noted that preparations for WUF13, to be hosted in Baku from May 17 to 22, 2026, are ongoing. As the national coordinator of WUF13, he continues to hold official meetings to advance the forum’s organization.
