Presidential Assistant: WUF13 will serve as a crucial platform for global dialogue and experience sharing
“The World Urban Forum (WUF13), set to take place in Azerbaijan, will serve as a crucial platform for international experience sharing and global dialogue on urban development,” said Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, during a meeting with representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan held at Garabagh University.
Hikmet Hajiyev emphasized that post-conflict reconstruction efforts, urban planning, and infrastructure development in Garabagh and East Zangezur represent a unique model of recovery that can be shared with international partners.
He also urged UN member states and agencies to actively engage in the forum, emphasizing that it will help generate new ideas for shaping future cities.
