I express my gratitude for the warm hospitality shown to us and for excellent organization of the event. Simultaneously, I highly appreciate the messages addressed by António Guterres, United Nations Secretary-General and Annalena Baerbock, President of the UN General Assembly,” said Nga Kor Ming, Minister of Housing and Local Government of Malaysia, and President of UN-Habitat Assembly, at the opening ceremony of the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum.

According to him, the global urban agenda has never gained such an important basis for multilateral cooperation.

"Baku is becoming the capital of the world during the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum," Nga Kor Ming emphasized.
